Join us as we run to complete our mission efforts of 2020.  The year may have been a crazy one, but we are still have much to celebrate! Our Guatemalan communities are staying strong.  Already vulnerable families have persevered through moments of hunger, economic loss, educational limitations, and even great emotional burden.  It has not been an easy journey, but it has resulted in new strength, resilience, and faith for many.  We have been so honored to be by their side this year. 

OUR GOALS

Run with Me to support Identify's mission efforts, especially for the vulnerable of Guatemala.  We are hosting this event to replace a portion of the funds lost this year due to a lack of international team travel as a result of Covid-19. Our event goals are to fund at least 5 of our Guatemalan community outreach programs scheduled for November, in addition to providing some 2020 budget relief for the organization.

OUR EVENT

Choose from a Just for Fun Run/Walk or our 5K.

This is a virtual run, where all finish times will be entered online and winners will be selected based on those recordings.  This means that anyone living anywhere can Run with Me! Whether you live in Georgia, California, Canada, Australia, or in-between, you are able to participate!

Our Run with Me event will occur over a span of 9 days, Saturday, October 10th - Sunday, October 18th, giving participants or groups the freedom to run when it is convenient for them. Once a runner has completed his/her Fun Run/Walk or 5K then it is only necessary to record the time on our site and join us for the announcements of winners at the close of the race on October 18th.

Each person who registers will receive:

• electronic racing bib

• invite to our Facebook event racers page

• access to our online leader board pages

Our fastest participants in each 5K category will be awarded medals and our Fun Run/Walk leaders will receive prizes as well!

RUNS & COSTS

• $25 - Just for Fun Run/Walk (a 1 mile distance or 4 laps around a football field for our littlest ones, those with physical restrictions, or those who would rather enjoy the run sweat free)

• $35 - 5k

• $5 discount available for students if requested (please send a picture of your current student ID and expected graduation date to info@identifythemission.org)

RUN WITH A GROUP

Interested in running with friends or a group?  The more the merrier!  Let us know if you want to join efforts or recruit your own running/walking partners.  We know runners are desperate to get together again.  Our Identify families could have a blast supporting our global mission efforts together.  And wouldn't it be great to get your past mission team together to enjoy this special day?  Whatever a group looks like for you, we will be cheering you on!
